As our eventful day ends, it’s time to head back! Enjoy a relaxing journey back to Lisbon, passing through coastal towns such as Cascais, Estoril, and Oeiras. Along the way, you’ll witness the stunning coastline stretching from Cascais to Lisbon, where the ocean meets the Tagus River with Belém in the background.

During the tour of Sintra and Cascais, you will visit several key attractions. It is included in the program. Pena Palace is a famous architectural monument, one of Portugal’s most visited places. Sintra Old Town is a charming old part of the city offering a variety of dining options and amazing local desserts. Cabo da Roca is the best point to enjoy the spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and wild coastal cliffs.
The itinerary is flexible regarding timing and duration at each stop, depending on traffic, weather conditions and other factors. For example, we have a set time for each attraction, but the exact timing and duration at each stop may vary slightly depending on circumstances.
The Old Town of Sintra offers many dining options, including cozy cafes and restaurants with local specialities. We recommend trying local desserts from Sintra, such as “travesseiro” or “queijada”, which are famous for their delicious fillings and traditional recipes.
You will have time to explore the area independently during your visit to Cabo da Roca. You will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature, walk along the cliff paths and visit the lighthouse, which is also a popular attraction in the area.
