How to get to NewsMuseum

The News Museum Sintra is conveniently located in the middle of town. Here’s how to get to the museum by bus or car:

  • Bus #434, dubbed the “Pena Circuit,” connects Sintra’s principal attractions, including the historic center. Get out at the Sintra Train Station, which is a short walk from the News Museum.
  • Bus #435, the “Villa Express,” connects the Sintra Train Station to various significant locations in town, including the historic center. This bus is ideal for getting to the News Museum from many sections of Sintra.
  • If you prefer to drive, Sintra is easily accessible, and there are several parking alternatives near the museum. From Lisbon, follow the IC19 highway to Sintra. Once in Sintra, follow the directions to the historic center, which houses the NewsMuseum. Be advised that parking in the historic district may be restricted, especially during busy tourist seasons.
